Privacy Policy

How VVUF collects, uses and protects information across our website and mobile apps.

Effective date: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PRD LLC collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the VVUF website at vvuf.pet, the VVUF mobile apps for iOS and Android, and the VVUF web application, together called the Services. We have written it to be clear and easy to read. By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to all of the Services, whether you reach them through a web browser on a computer or through the VVUF app on a phone or tablet. It covers visitors to our website, grooming businesses that create an account, the staff members those businesses add, and the clients whose details a business stores in VVUF.

The VVUF mobile apps and the web application collect and use information in the same way as described here. Where a practice applies only to the apps or only to the website, we say so.

2. Who we are

VVUF is a platform that helps pet grooming businesses manage their bookings, staff schedules, services and client records. VVUF is operated by PRD LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. For information that a grooming business stores about its own clients, that business is the controller of the data and PRD LLC acts as a processor on its behalf. For information we collect directly from website visitors and account holders, PRD LLC is the controller. You can reach us using the details in the Contact us section below.

3. Information we collect

We collect the following kinds of information.

Information you give us

  • Account and business details. When you create a business on VVUF we collect your name, email address, business name, business logo, opening hours and the breeds or pet types you service.
  • Staff details. Businesses can add staff members with their names, roles, working hours, photos and availability.
  • Service and pricing details. The grooming services you offer, their prices, durations and any taxes you set.
  • Client and pet records. Information a business enters about its clients and their pets, which can include client names, contact details, emergency contacts, notification preferences, notes, and pet details such as breed, coat length, weight and grooming history.
  • Booking details. Appointments, the staff and services attached to them, dates, times and related notes.
  • Messages you send us. When you contact us by email or through a form, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and app information. When you use the apps or website we may collect your device type, operating system, app version, language settings and similar technical details.
  • Usage information. We collect information about how you use the Services, such as the screens you view, the features you use and the actions you take, so we can understand what works well and what to improve.
  • Log and diagnostic information. We may collect log data, crash reports and performance information to keep the Services reliable and secure.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. On the website we use cookies and similar technologies as described in the Analytics and cookies section.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the Services.
  • Set up and manage your account and your business profile.
  • Enable bookings, staff scheduling, services and client and pet records to work as intended.
  • Keep the Services secure and prevent misuse.
  • Understand how the Services are used so we can fix problems and improve features.
  • Respond to your questions and provide support.
  • Send you important messages about your account, including service and security notices.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on a lawful basis for each use, which may include performing our contract with you, your consent where required, our legitimate interest in running and improving the Services, and compliance with the law.

5. Analytics and cookies

We use analytics tools to understand how people use the Services so we can make them better. These tools collect usage and device information as described above. The tools we use are:

  • Firebase Analytics. Provided by Google, Firebase Analytics helps us understand app and website usage, such as which features are used and how sessions flow. It may collect device identifiers, usage events and similar information.
  • Mixpanel. Mixpanel helps us analyse product usage and trends, such as how people move through key tasks. It may collect usage events, a randomly assigned identifier and similar information.

These providers process information on our behalf so we can measure and improve the Services. They each maintain their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read them. We do not use these tools to sell your information.

On the website we use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and gather the analytics described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can limit analytics collection on your device through your device and app settings. Turning some cookies off may affect how parts of the site work.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following ways:

  • Service providers. We work with trusted companies that help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, storage, analytics and customer support providers. They may process information only on our instructions and must protect it.
  • Within your business. Information you add to your business is available to the staff members and account holders of that business, according to the access your business sets.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information if required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and property of users, the public or VVUF.
  • Business transfers. If VVUF is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will let you know if your information becomes subject to a different policy.

7. Business and client data

Grooming businesses use VVUF to store records about their own clients and pets. For that information, the business is the controller and decides how it is used. VVUF processes it on the business behalf to provide the Services.

If you are a client of a grooming business that uses VVUF and you have a question about your information, please contact that business directly, as they control their own records. We will support the business in responding to your request where we are able to.

Businesses are responsible for handling the personal information of their clients lawfully, including giving any notices and gathering any consents that the law requires.

8. How we protect information

We take the security of your information seriously and use technical and organisational measures designed to protect it, including encryption in transit, access controls and secure cloud storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Services. We may keep some information for longer where we need to in order to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed we take steps to delete it or make it no longer identify you.

10. Children

The Services are intended for grooming businesses and the people who run them, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. These can include the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Object to or ask us to limit certain processing.
  • Ask us to provide your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act. If your information is held by a grooming business that uses VVUF, please contact that business, as they control their records. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

12. International data transfers

We may store and process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer information across borders, we take steps to make sure it is protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in another way. We encourage you to review this page from time to time so you stay informed.
